The story:

When I met my now-husband in the 1980s he was the owner and wearer of at least a dozen gray sweaters. Striped ones. Dotted ones. Solid ones. So when I decided to have a press name for my books I wanted to acknowledge that this career of mine would not exist if not for my husband’s support and the purchase of that first computer way back when so I could write down my stories.
