I had a doctor appointment this week for my yearly physical. I have to get one to get my prescriptions refilled. So, I took the opportunity to mention some aches and pains I’ve ignored for months. My right knee and my left heel.
After x-rays I got an appointment for the knee at Sports Medicine. The doctor said it could be just a ‘bum’ knee, but gave me exercises to do to see if I can strengthen the knee so it doesn’t unexpectedly buckle again. Scary!! I’ve become afraid I’ll fall.
First day of exercises and I realize how out of shape I am. LOL Each one was 3 sets of 10. I managed 1 set of 10 of about half the exercises and I was exhausted.
I’m too young to be old. I will be pushing myself to get to those 3 sets of 10 of ALL of the exercises. When I go back in a month, I want the doctor to see I’ve been working at this.
Hoping for better exercising for me.
