B&N Shut Audiobook Section?

Are you like me and going huh? I didn’t even know BN.com had an audiobook section. This is no way to do business. I love my Nook. I love visiting my local Barnes & Noble. But we can’t help them if they don’t help themselves.

  1. I agree, Jill. My husband gave me a Nook 4 or 5 years ago, but B&N books are priced higher than Amazon and I’ve never seen free or .99 books. So, I bought a color e-reader. It’s only 2 years old and it has already died. Even before that, the battery life sucked, I could use it outside because of how bad the glare was, and it did hinky things, like closing the book I was reading while I was reading. So, I have gone back to my Nook because I can read it anywhere, it doesn’t do hinky things, and the battery life is awesome. But now I have to pay more for books, or try to convert the ones I’ve bought from Amazon through Calibri….and some books are DRM protected and cannot be convert. Poor Barnes and Noble. They need to wake up and smell Amazon’s profits if they want to remain competitive.

    • Lilly, I have a Nook too and I love it, but BN.com doesn’t make it easy and that is what you need in this eBook world. The easy vendor is going to win.
