The Writer’s Life

Seems everywhere you go today a writer comes across the Hero’s Journey. My favorite example of the Hero’s Journey is Star Wars…even with Legos.

  1. I love the heroes journey. In the workshop I give, we touch on the heroes journey at the end. I give the handout with all the blank spaces and everyone loves it!

  2. Tonya, Lee gave me the book and I just ate it up. Now I make comments all the way through movies. It is interesting to see even crappy movies use the Hero’s Journey.

  3. Now that’s how you write a synopsis!!! It was perfect…I’ll have to use it as a example…Where did you get it?

  4. My favorite heroes journey is the movie version of Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly. Darcy is pulled unwittingly into a journey of love and change. Lizzy learns not to judge a book by it’s cover and both end up ecstatically happy. Romance, for me, just doesn’t get any better than that.
